Kimbo Slice Loves Him Some Alfredo Angulo

↵
↵Kimbo accompanied the Mexican junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo to the ring on Saturday night for his bout with hard-as-nails Colombian Richar Gutierrez. Then Sir Slice proceeded to witness a fight worthy of his most esteemed Kimbo-ness, an all-out brawl that were it not for a slew of epic high-profile tangles this year would have generated some Fight of the Year buzz. Angulo stopped Gutierrez with a fifth-round TKO despite the fact that the round opened with Gutierrez rocking Angulo and looking like he might have the knockout in his grasp. Just a great all-around all-action slugfest on what was a highly entertaining evening of fights on HBO. If you missed it, I recommend checking around for a replay.
↵
↵In the opening fight, James Kirkland demonstrated some genuine fists of fury in a first-round KO, and then fast-handed Cuban prospect Yuriorkis Gamboa was both electrifying and shaky in the main event.
↵↵The real highlight, however, was the Angulo/Gutierrez “el mas macho” throwdown. After the fight, Kimbo hovered behind Angulo while he was interviewed by Max Kellerman, creating an overall aura of superbad-osity in the Mexican’s otherwise diminutive posse. Kimbo man – when you got him in your crew, you are officially rolling thick.↵

↵Related: Kimbo also loves him some country music awards.↵
