Chad Johnson Owes Taxes, Says Humbug!

Chad Johnson owes $12,780 in back taxes on his Cincinnati condo, meaning Mr. Johnson is either cheap, forgetful, both, or has gone on a nutty anti-tax protest like Wesley Snipes.
↵

↵If he has gone the Snipes route, he should reconsider: Wes just got the stake through the heart of a three-year prison sentence for failing to pay his taxes. If the government can catch Blade, they can catch anyone, man. However, it’s most likely that Chad Johnson just doesn’t have his business together, and will grumpily write a check.
↵
↵The local press, though, does what the local press does best: exaggerating the case and tying Johnson’s lack of payment to the fiscal struggles of Cincinnati schools. He’s responsible for all of them.
↵↵⇥The auditor’s office says Johnson owes more than $13,000 in taxes for his condo. He’s delinquent $12,780.↵⇥$8,000 of it would’ve gone to Cincinnati schools.↵⇥“There’s not a program at CPS that’s really seeing any increase in funding right now, said Pam Green, parent.↵⇥Green is with an organization called Parents for Public Schools, and her two daughters are students. She says with the district suffering financially, students need every dime for a quality education.↵⇥“We have classes where students have to share books,” said Green. “We have classes where teachers are just photocopying textbook pages.”↵↵↵WHY DOES CHAD JOHNSON HATE THE CHILDREN OF CINCINNATI? You could point to the perpetual mismanagement of Cincy schools, including building new schools when enrollment is declining and hiding failing schools via legislative loopholes.↵

↵↵That’s boring and tedious, though. Blaming the rich black guy with gold teeth? That’s entertaining and easy!
