What Your Television Is Doing This Weekend

It appears as if this weekend is going to be one of the more pedestrian ones in quite some time. We’ve had Drafts, Horse Races, and Boxing the past few weekends, but this go around we’re getting Softball, Indy 500 Time Trials, Bowling and Fishing. Oh, and there’s some basketball and baseball happening as well. I guess it’s not all that bad.↵↵NBA Playoffs:↵
↵The Spurs and Hornets game three last night was so good that it might spoil us for the rest of the Playoffs. Every home team has won so far and most of those games have been blowouts. I want close games like everyone else, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any. The favorites just look too strong, but the one thing the series underdogs have is great home records. We shall see.↵

↵↵Friday’s game (ESPN, 9pm) has the Lakers heading into Utah for game three of their series and Mike Tirico, Hubie Brown, and Lisa Salters will be your hosts. Saturday is highlighted by a pair of evening games as Pistons-Magic (ESPN, 5pm) play game four and Boston travels to Cleveland (ABC, 8:15pm) for game three. Dan Shulman and Doris Burke will call the first game and Mike Breen, Mark Jackson, and Jeff Van Gundy will have the second.↵

↵↵TNT gets the last game of the weekend on Sunday (8:15pm) as Kevin Harlan and Doug Collins have the call of game four between the Hornets and Spurs.↵

↵MLB:↵
↵There's joy among Baseball fans this weekend as they get a day without Joe Buck and Tim McCarver calling a game. FOX regulars Stockton, Karros, Albert, and Grace get the two main games for the network, but there's an interesting duo for the third. FOX has decided to pair Cardinals play by play man Dan McLaughlin with Brewers analyst Bill Schroeder for those watching in a few towns in the Midwest.↵
