Does Olbermann Know Something We Don’t?

↵Okay, what I’m about to do is a little weird, since I’m the one who alerted Brian to increasingly infamous Keith Olbermann gaff. It’s true, television’s Great Left Hope stumbled at best, and at worst didn’t know Chauncey Billups plays for the Pistons.↵
↵
↵

↵But I’ve yet to hear anyone point out that saying Billups is a Nugget is both totally OG and more forward-thinking than you know. For one, he was once a Nugget. Way before most people knew who Chauncey was. Any idiot could tell you that Billups is now a Piston, but to have known of him when he was a draft bust broken by Pitino and shipped back to his home state of Colorado, in what looked like both a fresh start and a final chance? That’s real basketball knowledge.↵
↵
↵Also, before Billups re-signed with the Pistons, there was talk of him heading to the Nuggets. And now that Dumars has threatened to trade the entire team, and a Denver/Detroit swap makes a certain amount of cosmic sense ... could this be a secret shout-out to Rodney Stuckey?↵
