↵Welcome to what I like to call the dead zone, folks. There’s no basketball on for the first time in over nine months and the loss of Tiger Woods has knocked summer golf down a few pegs. If you like lots of baseball, soccer and boxing, then this is your dream weekend. ↵

↵↵Euro 2008:↵
↵The European Championship Tournament will be in the middle of the quarterfinal round come this weekend and will feature some of the best soccer in the world. Germany is through to the semis, but there are three other games left before the final four is set. Here's the schedule:

↵HBO and Showtime Boxing: ↵
↵The two movie channels go head-to-head late Saturday night. Showtime is even bringing out all of the stars to pull you away from HBO. Ron Artest, Dwyane Wade and Kimbo Slice will all be in attendance at the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas. ↵
