Fresno Wins CWS; Skullet Owns the Dog Pile

You’ve heard all the baseball-to-basketball analogies for this Fresno State team (“this is like Blue Ridge Community College winning the Final Four!”, etc.), but what they pulled off last night -- beating No. 8 Georgia in Game 3 after losing Game 1 -- is pretty spectacular, even though you don’t care about college baseball. I won’t bore you with how incredible Steve Detwiler’s two homers with a torn thumb ligament and Justin Wilson’s 127-pitch, eight-inning, one-run performance were. Instead, I’ll just give you the good stuff: Kris Tomlinson’s Skullet (one last time) invading the victory dog pile:

↵↵I can only imagine how righteously stoked these brahs are gonna get once they return to Cali after being on the road since May 11th and winning the school’s first ever national championship (in a men’s sport). Gnarly. ↵
