TSB’s Obligatory NBA First Round Mock Draft

Stars could be dealt. The draft order could be turned upside-down starting at the No. 2 pick with the Heat, but in a sleep-deprived state, Shoals and I did our own mock Wednesday night/Thursday morning.↵↵Forget what will happen. This is what should happen. Shoals starts at No. 1, and we alternated, with the exception of Shoals taking No. 18, while I took No. 19 and 20. We returned to alternating picks after that.↵

↵↵What’d we learn? There will be trades. If you want a guard -- particularly a point guard -- you better have a top 15 pick in your pocket. Also, there’s just an abundance of big guys, so if that’s what you fancy, and you aren’t after Kevin Love or Michael Beasley, trade down. With that, we give you a mock that will undoubtedly be rendered useless thanks to trades by the time you read this.↵
