↵Apologies for the slightly messed-up sound, but I just had to throw this up here. Isn’t this Dan Majerle Nike ad, from 1993, like the exact inverse of today’s sneaker commercials? Veteran white dude in a musty pick-up game, hitting the floor with abandon and looking every bit the humble, but motivated, schlub. Yeah, I’d say we’re now at the polar opposite of that in what the shoe companies feed us on the old television set.↵
