Allen Breaks Out Larry O’ Brien for the People
↵
↵I know what you’re thinking: “Why would I want to watch a snooty New England coast parade in my free time at work?” Well dude, hold on loosely till around 30 seconds in, when Ray Allen makes an appearance in the Martha Vineyard’s Independence Day Parade sporting the Larry O’Brien. Wait, is there only one, like the Stanley Cup? Is this some Illuminati or Skull and Bones ish, where this center of leisure and influence can get Ray Ray and the trophy with a single well-placed phone call?↵↵Or maybe, just maybe, this is Allen in all his art-collecting, toenail-painting glory. Forget about a dunk contest; Martha’s Vineyard parades are bourgeois. And if that’s Allen’s comfort zone—or he has a house up there anyway—why wouldn’t he do a solid for the people? Power to the power!↵
