The Phillies clinched their third straight NL East title last night and after celebrating in the clubhouse, the whole team came back on the field to celebrate with Harry Kalas, their late broadcaster who passed away earlier this season. The team jogged out to the left field wall where there is a banner honoring Kalas. Enrico from The700Level.com was there to take it in:
Phillies Honor Harry Kalas After Clinching
↵↵It was an unbelievable range of emotions. From the excitement of being there to see the boys clinch another NL East title, to the sadness of missing the voice of the Phillies. It was a touching tribute and the boys, while certainly having fun dousing the wall in booze, touched the HK banner with affection. Ryan Howard appeared to be the most emotional and stood with his head touching the wall for a brief moment.
