Bucs DE Gaines Adams Thinks He Can Play vs. Washington

According to PewterReport.com, Gaines Adams missed his second straight practice due to a knee injury he suffered against the Giants last Sunday.

However, Adams believes he will be able to play in Sunday’s game against Washington:

“I’ve played through some injuries before, but with the groin it can get very serious, so we have to be careful. It’s not like a shoulder or anything like that. It’s dealing with my legs, and I use them on every play. We don’t want to strain it more or tear it.”
