↵↵Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the pitch for a game against Hungary on Saturday—he had been out since Sept. 30 with an ankle injury. That’s about the same time a self-described occult practitioner known as Pepe says he cast a hex on Mr. Ronaldo, according to Spanish newspapers.
↵Those in the soccer world say the main concern isn’t whether the black magic is real. It’s whether it could take a psychological toll on Mr. Ronaldo. Alas, in the 26th minute of Saturday’s game, Mr. Ronaldo left the field after re-injuring his ankle.
