The last few years, the NHL has made waves for playing a few games each year on outdoor ice. This year, for example, the Bruins and Flyers will play on New Year’s Day at Fenway Park. Pretty cool, no?
They Play Hoops Outdoors, Too?
↵Well the NBA’s taken note and while we’ve yet to see an outdoor regular season game, the Phoenix Suns have done it twice in the preseason, most recently on Saturday night at the Indian Wells tennis arena. Golden State won the game 104-101, but more than the action, the photos are what’s proven most enduring. Like this one:
