Patriots Pro Bowl LT Matt Light Goes Down With Knee Injury

Patriots' starting left tackle Matt Light left Sunday's loss to Denver after the first play of the fourth quarter with a right knee injury. This from the Boston Herald:

It appeared that center Dan Koppen rolled over Light’s right knee during a 12-yard pass to receiver Wes Welker. He stayed on the field for several moments, as trainers worked on him. Eventually, Light exited the field without putting pressure on his right foot. He later left for the locker room.

Light was replaced by rookie Sebastian Vollmer. The extent of the injury and his status for next week and the rest of the season is yet to be determined.
