As if Gilbert Arenas’ legend wasn’t already secure… Yesterday afternoon, as we reported on SB Nation, Arenas was fined for refusing to speak to the NBA media. So, what did he do?

↵Well, other than take out his frustrations on the Detroit Pistons (24 points, 9-11 shooting), naturally, he spoke to the media. And re-enacted one of the finer performances in press conference history. From the Detroit Free-Press:

↵Arenas was fined $25,000 by the NBA earlier in the day for not making himself available to the media. After the game, Arenas twice declined to comment on his fine.
↵"Both teams played hard," he said in the locker room. "I feel fine."

An admirable show of apathy, there, from Arenas. Though, technically speaking, it wasn’t a press conference, and nobody will ever top Rasheed Wallace’s showing:
