Bad news for the Blue Jackets as Columbus Dispatch's Aaron Portzline reports that defenseman Jan Hejda will miss 4-6 weeks with a sprained left knee.

Hejda is a central part of the Blue Jackets’ defensive core, having played in 163 games over the past two seasons and attaining a +50 rating over that period of time.
