Michael Turner punched it in from 5-yards out with just over three minutes to go to put Atlanta ahead and Chicago's ensuing drive fell short after reaching the Falcons 1-yard line, allowing Atlanta to stay just a game behind the undefeated Saints in the NFC South.

Matt Ryan finished 19 of 33 for 185 yards with two interceptions to go with his touchdown passes to Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez. Turner was held to just 30 yards on 13 carries while White made 4 catches for 56 yards and Gonzalez caught 4 for 52. Jay Cutler completed 27 of 43 for 300 yards and also had two picks to go with his scoring tosses to Johnny Knox and Greg Olsen. Matt Forte managed only 23 yards on 15 tries while Devin Hester grabbed 6 passes for 83.
