Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Howie Kendrick fittingly scored the game- winning run in the 11th inning, racing all the way from first base after Jeff Mathis roped a line drive into the left-field gap to give the LA Angels of Anaheim a much-needed 5-4 decision over the Yankees in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series.
Kendrick went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, triple and three runs scored to cut New York’s series lead to 2-1.
