The injury bug is back in Seattle. After returning from a previously injured hamstring, Lofa Tatupu left yesterday's loss against the Cardinals with a torn pectoral that will knock him out for the year, according to the Seattle Times.
Seahawks MLB Tatupu Out For Season
Tatupu's absence is certainly a devastating blow for a defense that relies on the former USC star to provide playmaking and leadership. With Tatupu's injury, the Seahawks will only have had their top trio of linebackers - Tatupu, Leroy Hill, and first-round pick Aaron Curry - on the field together for ten plays this year. Hill has been sidelined with a groin injury, and is expected to return for the team's next game, against Dallas on November 1.
