Bruins Lucic to Miss 4-6 Weeks With Broken Finger

Stanley Cup of Chowder reports that Bruins forward Milan Lucic has been placed on the long term injured reserve list with a broken finger and will miss 4-6 weeks.

As per NHL rules, Lucic must miss 10 games and 24 days, and it remains to be seen if he will miss more time as his finger heals. Lucic, who recently signed a contract extension as a reward for his breakout season last year, is off to a slow start this season, notching only three assists through six games. The Bruins have called up forwards Vladimir Sobotka and Brad Marchand to fill the spots left by the Lucic injury and the Chuck Kobasew trade.
