Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson had to perform some acrobatics in the third period, particularly during a five on three power play where Rob Blake tested him several times. He had a particularly outstanding, and flashy, glove save that brought the Pepsi Center crowd to their feet. Joe Sakic Night Ends in 5-2 Win for the Avalanche over Sharks
On the Sharks side, despite the changes in the offseason with bringing Dany Heatley, the San Jose team looked a bit lost out there tonight, especially in their own zone. And Heatley looked disinterested at times.
