Don’t Forget About That Crabtree Guy

But don’t forget about that first-round WR draft pick who finally signed with his team. Yup, Michael Crabtree is slated to see his first action of the year this coming weekend, but is he worthy of a spot on your fantasy roster? Conventional wisdom says receivers, more than any other position except QB, have the hardest time transitioning to the pros. But, Crabtree was a remarkable talent in college, and if you’re desperate…The decision to pick up Crabtree should be based on his talent and potential down the stretch, because he won’t make an immediate impact. The rookie will be at a huge disadvantage, as he missed all of training camp and will be weaned into the offense slowly. But if you’re in a larger league and have an expendable player on the roster, adding Crabtree makes sense.
