Chip Caray Still Being Awful

Here’s Chip Caray’s rather excitable call of Jimmy Rollins’ game-winning double last night. It’s all going so well for him for about the first 12 seconds, until he yells this: “Ruiz around third! They’re gonna wave him! Here’s the throw to the plate! It’s not in time!”

↵The only problem: There was no throw to the plate. There was a throw to the cutoff man, who didn’t bother throwing to the plate cause Ruiz had already scored.
