A-Rod’s taken a lot of flack for his postseason performance; he’s been called a choker for a lot of years, and for barely cogent reasons. I think we can put a stop to that now: A-Rod just hit his fifth home run of the 2009 postseason, a bomb that gave the Yankees a 4-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning. Alongside those two ninth-inning home runs, A-Rod is putting up numbers above and beyond his usual regular season production. And what’s funny is that A-Rod’s postseason numbers before 2009 weren’t all that bad, either.
A-Rod Continues To Be Very Good At Baseball
↵In other words, we can stop talking about this, right? We can just admit Alex Rodriguez has always been good at baseball? Cool? Cool.
