Stars’ Modano, Lehtinen Placed On IR

Neither forward has had much of a chance to make an impact for the Stars this year as they have played one and two games respectively and notched only one assist apiece. The loss of two potentially point-producing forwards for an extended period of time does not bode well for the Stars, who currently sit in 4th in the Pacific Division and are facing an uphill battle to make the playoffs in a deep Western Conference.
