‘Epic Vale’ Is No Longer a Joke?

Witness one of Javale McGee’s draft profiles from two years ago (sic, sic, sic):

↵↵That was written by his mother… As a result, and also owing to his phenomenally awkward frame, it’s been difficult to take Javale McGee seriously as a pro. He’s sort of a running joke. Hence the semi-sarcastic “Epic Vale” nickname.
