Top Five Hawkeyes: BCS Standings Bump Iowa To No. 4 Despite Lack Of Human Respect

Top five? Say hello to the Iowa Hawkeyes. Hawkeyes, top five. Been a while since you two were in the same room, eh?

Yes, Kirk Ferentz’s streaking Hawkeyes have their sights set on a Big Ten title; in the meantime, computer love will have to do. The BCS’s formula put Iowa in the top five tonight despite a close call at Michigan State Saturday night and little respect from human voters. Silly humans. So inferior to computers in so many ways.

In the meantime, Florida unsurprisingly came in at No. 1 overall, while SEC foe Alabama was No. 2. Texas, USC, TCU, Boise State, Cincinnati, LSU and Oregon.
