Isn’t preseason supposed to be one of the laziest months of the NBA year? Like, even summer league is said to be more intense than most of what you see from the NBA preseason. Not so for the Utah Jazz, however, who spent 13 of their 20 days on the road, traveling from spots exotic (Europe) to, ah, less exotic (Sacramento!).

↵↵Sloan said this preseason pales in comparison to what he went through as a Baltimore Bullets rookie.
↵“Used to play 15 exhibition games and play the same team eight times,†Sloan said. “Then you worry about, ‘Was that really rough?’ At every high school gym in Detroit.â€
↵Sloan said the Bullets not only played all those preseason games against the Pistons, they also rode the same buses and stayed at the same hotels.
