DREAM Wants Fedor Emelianenko vs. Alistair Overeem In Japan

Despite the fact that Alistair Overeem is Strikeforce heavyweight champion it appears that the best chance we have of seeing Overeem fight Fedor is in Japan. DREAM’s event producer Keiichi Sasahara says he intends to do everything he can to make it happen:

↵↵“That would be great,” Sasahara said. “That’s a fight I really want to see. … It’s not an easy fight to get together but it’s a fight I would like to see. I’ll do what I can to make it happen in the near future.”

↵↵Of course, this fight happening in Japan isn’t going to do anything to quiet the fans who claim that Overeem’s incredible muscular growth over the past few years is due to…less than legitimate means.
