Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu’s injury prognosis — which began as season-ending and was since optimistically downgraded — has officially come full circle. Tatupu will miss the rest of the season with a torn pectoral muscle.

Tatupu flew to Dr. James Andrews’ office in Alabama earlier today (never a good sign, at least not in the near term) where he underwent surgery to reattach the pectoral muscle to the bone. Hope you’re not queasy, because that just sounds awful.
