Coming as a surprise to probably absolutely no one, the Kansas Jayhawks will begin the 2009-10 NCAA Basketball season as the No. 1 team in the AP poll. Kansas, which is returning all five starters from last year's 27-8 team, received 55 of the 65 first-place votes. Michigan State is No. 2, with Texas, Kentucky and Villanova rounding out the top five.
