A year ago this weekend, Texas was the team that had its candy taken away; this Halloween, the Longhorns are the ones delivering tricks -- namely, turnovers, a full five of them during the 41-14 blowout over OSU, including two interceptions returned for scores. Colt McCoy and the Texas offense didn’t get on the field much tonight, but last year’s Heisman runner-up was sharp, completing 16 of 21 passes for 171 yards, 1 TD, and no turnovers.

↵Technically, the ‘Horns have five games left on the regular season schedule (UCF, at Baylor, Kansas, at A&M, B12 Title Gm), but this trip to Stillwater was by far the team’s toughest remaining test. While most of the media discussion centers on Colt McCoy and the offense, it is Will Muschamp’s outrageous, turnover-creating defense that has the Longhorns looking so dangerous.
↵As for OSU, while quarterback Zac Robinson is surely down after his four-interception night, he was the first Big 12 quarterback not to get knocked out of the game by the Texas defense. So there’s that. Which is something.
