There was a scary moment in the second period of the Nashville Preadtors game against the Dallas Stars. Predators forward J.P. Dumont was reaching for a puck along the boards when he was hit by Stars defenseman Stephane Robidas. Dumont was knocked unconscious by the check and lay motionless on the ice for a couple of seconds.

↵The hit was borderline as it appeared that Robidas delivered an elbow to the head of Dumont and possibly left his feet to attempt the hit.

↵J.P. Dumont was not seriously injured on the play, it is uncertain if he will miss anytime from the hit.
