But this does not necessarily mean the Steelers’ All-Pro safety will miss this week’s game. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that Steelers coach Mike Tomlin wants to rest Polamalu in practice this week after the Steelers safety banged his knee last Sunday, and was slightly hobbled. Tomlin stressed, however, that Polamalu did not re-aggravate his previous knee injury, and that Polamalu should be ready to play this Sunday against the Vikings.
