Injured Lions QB Matthew Stafford was held of Wednesday’s practice because of his right knee. And that’s about the only updates Detroit is providing, with coach Jim Schwartz saying, “We’ll see on Sunday.”
Stafford Misses Practice, Status for Sunday Still Unknown
Even if Stafford can’t practice again on Thursday, Schwartz said that won’t necessarily rule him out.
“I don’t want to set any hard-set rules,” he said.
Daunte Culpepper took snaps with the first-string offense while Stafford watched, wearing a red No. 9 jersey, a Tigers cap, black shorts and shoes.
For what it’s worth, the Steelers are preparing to face Stafford, and not Culpepper.
