Maybe I’ve just been blocking it out, but is Chip Caray’s “fisted” call dissipating with time? I haven’t heard it in a while now, and I’m starting to miss it. (No I’m not. The last few innings have been great!)

In the meantime, a new trend is emerging: Ron Darling LOVES to call the Twins “gutsy.” Which is a very nice way of saying that they’re not as good as the Yankees, and that no one expects them to win, but hey, they sure do try hard! I expect this meme to achieve post-Darling dissemination and saturation by 11 a.m. EST tomorrow morning.
