Revenge of the Birds breaks it down out in the desert.
Kurt Warner: There are two things to worry about this week with Warner, Mario Williams and the Texan’s ninth ranked passing defense. So far the Texans are allowing just over 200 yards per game through the air and they haven’t allowed a passing touchdown in two weeks. With all of that being said so far they’ve faced a rookie (Mark Sanchez) and three teams that simply can’t move the ball through the air. Warner and company will be the biggest test for this Texans defense and the game will be in Arizona where Warner was simply amazing last year (17 TDs and an average of 292 yards per game).
Fantasy Scouting Report: Arizona Cardinals
Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin: If they’re on your roster, they should be in your starting line up every single week.
Tim Hightower and/or Beanie Wells: If you’re still holding onto either of these guys don’t hold your breath this week. Neither has distinguished himself from the other and there aren’t enough carries to split between two backs in this offense. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Beanie get the majority of the carries this week but Hightower will still play on third downs and either one of them could be on the field around the goal line.
