One of the interesting things about watching a game on MLB.tv is that you can change the camera on your own. If you want to see the game, you select the home plate or center field cameras. If you want to see players sit and pick their noses, you switch to the dugout camera.
For a Minute There, the TBS Cameraman Lost Himself
↵The side effect is that you get to watch feeds from cameramen that aren’t being used by the main broadcast at the moment. For example, on a recent infield grounder, the home plate camera jerked back and forth in a frantic attempt to catch whatever action it could. When their cameras aren’t live, all cameraman suddenly start behaving like the cameraman at the end of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” video. The resemblance is uncanny.
