Shaq Finds True Love This Time
↵↵Shaq has now been many places, and won many titles, or at least↵convinced teams they were in the hunt. But in the twilight of his↵career, when he’s only a shadow of the dominant player he once was, he↵has found true love. Really, that’s the explanation for his latest↵assessment of the Cavs, from the Akron Beacon Journal:↵
↵↵⇥ “Like I said before, one through 15, it’s probably the↵⇥best team that I’ve been on,” O’Neal said. “I’ve always been on↵⇥management to get me the shooters I needed and the power forward I↵⇥needed, but here [we have that].”↵↵First, let’s not make too big a deal of this. Shaq always↵goes to extremes, says stuff to get noticed and get a rise out of↵people, and is a tireless cheerleader for whatever jersey he wears at↵the time. Why shouldn’t he be? He’s also said a lot over the years↵about former teammates that borders on back-stabbing. This comment,↵though, is pure hyperbole, at exactly the right time and place for it.
