Dwyane Wade owes LeBron James a rich-people present. A Breitling watch made from ostrich teeth, or something. Because LeBron is not happy about the free agent questions he keeps getting, and when Wade says things like the following, they won’t go away anytime soon:

↵↵“I mean it’s a longshot, no question about it, it’s a longshot. I mean, I’m in Miami; he’s in Cleveland. He’s been put in a position in Cleveland where he has the opportunity to compete for a championship now. And I’m in Miami, where I’ve won a championship and this is where I love to be. So it’s not like we’re both looking over our shoulders, saying, ‘I want to get out of here.’ It’s a longshot, but, at the end of the day, it is a shot.”
↵↵This is not all that big of a deal, except that reporters took it back to LeBron. LeBron was less than pleased:
↵↵“This free agent talk is getting old, it’s getting older. I’m going to stop answering free agent questions until the offseason,” he said. “I owe it my teammates, myself, my organization to focus on this season. This is the last time this season I’m going to answer free agent questions until the end of the season.”
↵↵Good. LeBron’s right. The free agent talk is getting old -- we’ve been discussing the summer of 2010 since 2008! -- and for every bit of reader fatigue you and I have, imagine how bad it must be for James, who has an entire city hanging on his every indication. It’s probably best we just sit back and enjoy this season first. The insane rumor-mongering will have their day soon enough.
