This is turning into a textbook case for how to fail miserably at armed robbery.
First, Robinson, Jackson and Edwards (allegedly) used a pellet gun for the stick up, a device which is capable of knocking squirrels of tree limbs and breaking human skin if fired from close enough range; Second, the victims in this case apparently had no money on them, which is shocking considering they were all under 20 years old and quite possibly college students; Third, their getaway car was a green machine:
