The Pack is trying to right their season after losing to the Bucs, let’s see what Acme Packing Company has to say.
Fantasy Scouting Report: Green Bay Packers
QB Aaron Rodgers. Despite all the woes on the Packers’ offensive line, he’s still averaged almost 30 points/week over the last 4 weeks in my Fleaflicker league. The Cowboys pass defense hasn’t been outstanding this season, QB Matt Hasselbeck had a good game against them two weeks ago. Start.
WR Greg Jennings. His disappointing 2009 season continues, but he’s been averaging 6 catches for 66 yards over his last 4 games. Unless you’re in a pretty shallow league, you’re not likely to find that production on your bench or off waivers. Start.
WR Donald Driver. Despite the emergence of Jennings in 2007 and 2008, Driver has retaken the role as No. 1 WR in 2009. He’s averaged 81 yards/game in his last 4 games, and has 4 TDs on the season. Start.
RB Ryan Grant. The Cowboys have done a good job on run defense this season. Mike McCarthy seems to abandon Grant against teams with any semblance of a good run defense, and Grant had an awful game against the Cowboys in 2008. Sit.
Packers D. Three weeks ago, the D dominated the Lions in a shutout with 5 sacks and 3 INTs. In the 3 games since then, they’ve only managed 3 sacks and 2 INTs. And the Cowboys offense has been looking very good since WR Miles Austin emerged as their No. 1 receiver. Sit.
Packers backers hang at Acme Packing Company.
