John Wall Is Good At Basketball

That’s the lesson from tonight’s win over Miami (OH). John Wall scored 19 points and five assists in Kentucky’s 72-70 victory, including the last two points of the contest, a smooth, collected game-winning jumper from about 18 feet. This greatly pleased Kentucky’s fans, as you might imagine. Those fans had just seen the Redhawks hit a three with five seconds left to tie the game at 70, and it looked like Kentucky was in for more unexpectedly close basketball at Rupp Arena. Not so much. If you thought the John Wall hype was bad before, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
