Whether by email or by chat, it’s all the same in Fantasy Mailbag Q&A – as long as you drop the Mailbag part when doing a chat! So we step over to
CBS Sports Fantasy Chat Transcript
and lift a few passages from a Jamey Eisenberg Fantasy chat. We noted yesterday how Justin Forsett is a hot name on waiver wires and in general on fantasy rosters. But we also warned that Forsett has a poor matchup this week and could be ‘sit’ worthy. Eisenberg agrees:
Do you think Forsett is a good Flex play in a 12team non PPR where I start 2 RB 3 WR 1 Flex..my other options are Manningham, stroughter, or jacoby jones
I would not start Forsett this week, especially in a non-PPR league. The Vikings are solid against the run, and I would go with Manningham here. The Falcons are not good in pass defense, and I can see the Giants having success throwing the ball this week.
How about a little rookie WR advice?
Witch rookie WR has a better week? Maclin against my Bears or Crabtree aginst (sic) the Packers. Does a national TV game make a difference.
With Westbrook being hurt, I can see the Eagles throwing a lot. That should allow Maclin to play well like last week at San Diego. Go with Maclin here since Crabtree has been so inconsistent.
And one more for good measure concerning the turbulent world of RBs right now.
Hi Jamey. I’m a Cedric Benson owner. Says he is fine, but, doesn’t every injured player say that. Whom should I target for pickup – B.Scott, Forsett, Snelling, R.Bush?? Flex and ppr league. Thank you.
You are feeling the pain of several Fantasy owners with Benson, Brown, Westbrook, Turner, Portis and Jones. For one week, here’s the order: Bush, Scott, Forsett and Snelling. For the rest of the season: Bush, Snelling, Forsett and Scott.
