After being held out of Tuesday night's game with the Rangers, Capitals forward Alexander Semin has been placed on IR reports Corey Masisak via Twitter. There is no word yet on how long Washington will be without him.
Semin has been nursing an injured right wrist for a few weeks and had recently been seen around the Capitals’ practice facility with a brace on. Semin has nine goals and eight assists in 18 games this season.
