Polamalu Out For Sunday Due To Knee Injury

After sitting out practice on Thursday, the Steelers have ruled out All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu for the team’s Week 11 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Polamalu, for his part, was none too pleased about sitting out Sunday’s game, asking reporters “Who says there’s even a real knee injury” when they inquired about his knee. Nonetheless, with the woeful Chiefs on the schedule, and one of the two AFC wild card spots seemingly firmly in grasp, the Steelers are opting to be cautious with their star safety, and get him closer to full health.
