Minor Milestone: Google search

If you have Firefox, which I highly recommend you do, and you type “inhist” in the google search in the top right hand corner of the browser, the search engine will provide “Inhistoric.com” as a suggestion. I know this isn’t much of an accomplishment or anything, but I was actually happy to see it.

I basically chose the name “Inhistoric” because I couldn’t think of an original name to call a sports history site, so I figured I’d just make one up -- like Kotaku. Anyway, that turned out to be a REALLY bad decision traffic-wise, since whenever you search Inhistoric on Google, the response is always “Did you mean In historic?” Hopefully though, Inhistoric will become relevent enough that the search engines will actually accept it as a word.

Inhistoric’s writer is moving on to write about sports history for SBNation.com. But first, he bids a sad, reflective farewell to the blog that got him this far.
