Betts May Not Have Torn ACL

Contrary to the ESPN report that Redskins running back Ladell Betts had suffered a torn ACL and PCL, DC’s 106.7 The Fan reports that Betts is only now undergoing an MRI, and it is not certain that he has in fact torn his ACL.

106.7 The Fan does say that Betts reportedly has no stability in his knee, which does not augur well for him playing again this season. Whether he has suffered an ACL, MCL, or PCL injury (or some combination thereof) remains unclear.
