Jim Bowden, former Nats GM, tweets that the Dodgers management will not grant the Nationals permission to interview Don Mattingly:

Let’s see: He’d rather remain a bench coach for a few years and then take over a successful baseball team instead of potentially taking over the Nationals right now? Yeah, sounds about right.
