Brian Westbrook Reaggravates Ankle Injury, May Miss Practice

How do you know you might be redefining the concept of “injury-prone”? Answer: when you reaggravate an old injury while sitting out to heal from another injury. The Philadelphia Daily News’ blog, Eagletarian, reports that Westbrook has been receiving treatment on his surgically repaired right ankle. Despite this, Eagles head coach Andy Reid said he expects Westbrook to practice on Wednesday.

While this may be nothing more than a minor setback, it’s certainly discouraging that Westbrook’s old injury flared up when he wasn’t even playing. Expect Westbrook to continue to be a fixture on the injury report.
